Since 2003, Seacore's brand OceanPrime has been a favourite brand for seafood lovers in Ontario. It's wide variety of fish & seafood products includes shrimp to squid to barramundi but the one consistent aspect the brand features is Quality. Quality not only means the absolute best product but it also means that our products are 100% Net Weight. What does Net Weight exactly mean? It means that all of our products, once thawed out actually weight the weight you paid for. Some companies do not do this in order to get a "better price" but that better price is deceiving and not the true cost for your business. The reason OceanPrime does this is that we feel it is important for our customers to know their true cost on all of their products in order to calculate the appropriate selling price on their end. For example, a box of Shrimp that has a label of 20 LBS on it will and should always have 20 LBS after it is thawed out in the state it will be used.
