PARROT FISH
Seacore is featuring a frozen Parrot Fish that comes from Indonesia. It's a very high quality product from an excellent facility in the southern part of that country. In fact, this Parrot Fish is part of a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) to try and make it a more sustainable product. It comes from one of our Sea Pact partners and is a very trustworthy source.
Parrot Fish has a very nice white meat with a soft but moderate firm texture. Similar to a Haddock or Cod in texture and taste, the taste is a mild one with a slightly sweet and starchy, non oily flavour. Try it today!
MER BLEUE OYSTERS
Seacore is proud to offer a premium choice oyster from New Brunswick in the Mer Bleue Oysters. Ranging in size from 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter, they have a very nice deep cup and an exquisite taste. Throughout its five years of cultivation, in Winter as in Summer, this oyster waltzs to the rhythm of the delicately salty flows of the Atlantic Ocean, between the seabed & the carpet of frozen waves. It is then on the palate that Mer Bleue breaks the ice, revealing its voluptuous flesh and dancing in the mouth like a crazy algae – delicate & suggestive, like a sprig of sage (on a semi-salted butter).
